Xergi has more than 20 years of experience with establishment of CHP plants (combined heat and power). A CHP plant offers the advantages of reducing the energy costs and improving the security of supply.

Flexible Turnkey Delivery
CHP plants are delivered on a turnkey basis equipped with gas engines or gas turbines, or in combination with steam turbines as a combined cycle plant with an effect size of 1- 50 MWe.

Container-based CHP plants give the customer a flexible solution both with regard to location of the container and effect size. Turnkey container plants use gas engines with an effect size of up to 1 MWe.

Xergi’s CHP plants are fuelled by natural gas, biogas or a mix of gasses and diesel oil.

Effective Energy Use
CHP plants use waste heat from the exhaust, jacket water, lub.oil systems etc. for heat production, while the generated electricity can meet the electricity demand of the customer or can be sold.

Xergi can also offer expert input for feasibility calculations, as well as advice on effective energy use to ensure that the plant efficiency is adjusted to the financial requirements of the customer and the market.
